Over the past year we have seen a rise in the number of vacant properties we have been asked to secure. The COVID-19 measures implemented by the government have seen a rise in the number of people on furlough or working from home – this has meant there have been more business premises standing empty, which could potentially become vulnerable to vandalism, theft or other criminal activity. Our security officers have worked tirelessly over the past 12 months to ensure that these premises have remained secure at all times, whilst also maintaining all the safety protocols necessary.
Additionally, the COVID-19 pandemic has also unfortunately led to the closure of some businesses. In these instances, we have effectively secured the empty properties against any potential intruders by providing a range of different security measures, including mobile patrols, having security officers on site, and CCTV monitoring systems.
We have also experienced an increase in the number of pubs and bars we have made safe and secure. Whilst hopefully it won’t be too long before it is safe for everyone to get out and start enjoying the bars, pubs and restaurants again, in the meantime we can provide the necessary security measures to keep these premises safe and protected whilst they are closed.
